 Writtle is situated 2
miles west of Chelmsford, the county town of Essex, and about 30 miles north east of
London. We are 15 minutes drive from the M25, and half an hour's drive from Stansted
Airport. The Church is located in the centre of the village on the south side of the
village Green, behind a 16th century half-timbered house called ‘Aubyns’.

Parking at the Church - There is a
free public car park near the weir pond, on the Green to the east of the Church. Some
limited parking may be available (but not coaches) next to the church. Access is via The
Green and through a narrow entrance at the SW corner.
